Every design in this collection was discovered on an original piece of furniture or in an old interior (there is one outlier) — a scrap of embroidery under a Queen Anne stool, a ticking layer inside a Regency library armchair, a length of block-printed cotton that once lined a French room.

Some were never actually meant to be seen at all whilst others, worn and patinated, were on their last legs. They survived, forgotten underneath many other layers. I am now bringing them back into the light.

Each is precisely copied from the original and printed in Manchester. Every design is available in recycled velvet and cotton.
