Cinder

Printed on recycled velvet in Manchester.

Cinder is copied from an early 18th century hand embroidery. The original document textile was on a rare Queen Anne stool & had likely been embroidered for it. Sadly worm-eaten & liable to collapse at the merest glimpse of a backside, the stool gave up its wonderfully designed clothing and allowed me to copy it for future use.
